The Khoury Family Foundation was created in 2019 by Dr. Peter H. Khoury to serve as one of the primary vehicles for his philanthropic giving. Peter has spent 30 years in the vaccines and biologics industry with cross-sector experiences with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck and Co, Inc, and Baxter International. Currently Peter is the President and CEO of Ology Bioservices, Inc, which is a biologics contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). Headquartered in Alachua, Florida and with locations in Frederick, Maryland and Alameda, California, the over 200 employees of Ology Bioservices provide specialized manufacturing including biosafety level-3 production for both government and commercial customers.
Peter’s strong values of humility and giving back to one’s community, combined with his experience of seeing the impact and change that can be made through proper Family Foundation management, are the vision driving the future of the Khoury Family Foundation. His siblings Marie Polifrone, Wadi Khoury and John Khoury will be involved with the Foundation as will nieces, nephews, and close friends who will continue the founding vision of Dr. Khoury. Peter, Marie, Wadi and John, strive to encourage current and future generations of the family to be compassionate stewards of the foundation and its legacy.
