2023: The Walldogs Artistry and Sharing the History of High Springs, FL

The Khoury Family Foundation proudly supported an arts and mural festival coordinated by The Heart of High Springs, a nonprofit aiming to support the culture and growth of the city. High Springs was fortunate to be selected by The Walldogs organization, which is an international community of over 100 artists, who travel to a selected location to paint amazing and intricate large-scale murals focussing on a town’s history. These volunteers travel thousands of miles (on their own dime), to spend a week being hosted by the community, as they use their talents to tell the historic story of the town. We were fortunate to host, volunteers from England, Scotland, Georgia and Kentucky at our home for the week. The funding from our foundation, helped cover the expenses for the paint, scaffolding, food, etc. The event lasted for 5 days and was very well attended. Thousands of visitors gathered in High Springs to view the murals as they were being designed and painted, and many participated by picking up a brush and contributing their time/talent.

Google “Walldogs Dive into High Springs” for photos of the event.
